Laura Peluso, OTR/L, earned her degree in Occupational Therapy from Dominican College in New York. Her work experience includes working with adults in rehabilitative, home- and center-based settings and with children in home-based, preschool, and private pediatric settings. She has extensive training and experience in sensory integration interventions, addressing handwriting difficulties, and school-related organizational skills. Her passion is working with children and their families to effect change that allows for more positive interactions in everyday environments. Laura is also highly qualified to provide supervision to students pursuing degrees in Occupational Therapy and as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Laura is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and is fully certified by the National Board of Certification in Occupation Therapy.
Laura is a native of Long Island, NY, and moved to Colorado Springs in 2006. She and her husband, Frank, are the parents of three children. She loves living in Colorado and enjoys skiing, yoga, hiking and reading.
