Janise Harmon, MA, CCC-SLP earned her Bachelor’s degree in 1999 and her Master’s degree in 2001 from the University of Northern Colorado. She began her career in the school setting, working with elementary age students for 7 years. The last 5 years she has worked in a private clinic setting, working with children ages 15 months and up. She has a wide range of experience in her field with a variety of children including those with behavior difficulties, articulation and phonological disorders, language disorders, and children on the autism spectrum. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and the Colorado Speech-Language Hearing Association. She loves working with families and sharing in their joy when their children begin to communicate effectively. She is committed to developing treatment plans that will help each children develop to his or her full potential.
Janise is almost a Colorado native, living here for over 30 years. She and her husband, Brad, have lived in the Monument area for just over 8 years. She has two boys, Jack and Cole. They love this area and venture out to hike with their two dogs, snowshoe, ski, and bike on their days off together.
